A California woman taken hostage in Uganda is sharing the details of her ordeal. She told "CBS This Morning" co-host Gayle King one of her kidnappers was "shaking" when she was taken.

Here's a quickie recording of one of the stranger bass pieces I've learned. I don't think I would have passed an audition for Frank with this performance, but it's pretty close.

I'll say this - this piece is a great example of how something that's physically very simple (except for a couple of bits) can be *extremely* hard to play correctly. It's soooo sloooow that even the tiniest clam stands out like a sore thumb. And, keeping time while the drums are having full-on seizure moments requires a lot of concentration.

I can't remember where I dug up this recording, but I'm pretty sure it's Patrick O'Hearn on bass. Anyhoo, enjoy!
